WELCOME TO MY LIFE

I am so glad that you choose to view my life. Take a glimpse or you can follow me and stay updated!

Natural Hair Care

So Anyone who knows me, knows that I was recently preggo and I couldn't get a perm. So it has been well over a year and I decided to keep up with my hair journey. I try and wash my hair weekly and use heat only once a month. I want my hair to be lower back length by July.

This is one of my natural styles (it does no justice for my length but I love it anyway)

Stay tuned to learn about my regiment....

I am trying to upload my pictures that I took of my hair. I try to put heat to my hair only ONCE a month!

So here is my general regiment... please note that I get all my tips and tricks from here: http://keepitsimplesista.ning.com/forum/topics/2116961:Topic:8276 I LOVE Traycee!!! She has provided excellent videos and a place where EVERYONE can get the information they want! Make sure you join the K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Sista) community Ladies! :)

Anyways, one with the show....

I am currently using the Hello Hydration by Herbal Essence and I LOVE this stuff. I was forced to switch from Long Term Relationship and it turns out that it has been a GREAT decision! :)

I deep condition with the conditioner (hello hydration) and add all of my oils (olive, avacado, anykind of healthy oil I use it), I apply the conditioner like you would apply a virgin relaxer (for a visual effect) and I wrap  Suran Wrap around my hair and add a cap and sit under the dryer for 45 minutes (if my son is asleep) if my son is awake I just sit for about an hour to an hour and a half. I jump in the shower *please note NEVER rinse in the sink you are actually DAMAGING your hair by doing this* jump in shower, rinse, add shampoo and rinse, more shampoo.... condition AGAIN and let it set while I finish everything else I do in the shower. Comb out with a WIDE TOOTH comb (99 cents from Sally)

Now here is an IMPORTANT part... you must turn the water to as cool as you can stand it and rinse the conditioner out of your hair.... this will seal in the moisture!!!  jump out and let air dry... I add some moisturizer and all that jazz for good measure... I will try and make a YouTube video when I wash my hair next and post it on here! :) If you have any questions let me know!
